     High temperatures at Saddleback Pond during the summer are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Saddleback Pond temperatures drop to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Brook Trail, and a great close by hotel is The Perennial Inn. All year is a great time in the White Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Get wet paddling on Sandy River  
   - South Branch, and camping is available at Black Brook Cove Campground.
The amount of rain that falls at Saddleback Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is next to Saddleback Pond; don't leave Saddleback Pond without first going for a hike along the Chimney Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting
 
               things in the White Mountains. Moose And Deer Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore, and you should positively take a look at Piazza Rock during your stay.
Saddleback Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Black Mountain is tremendous, and paddling on Sandy River is so much fun.
While you're here at Saddleback Pond, you could also stop by beautiful Little Saddleback Pond, and at Saddleback Pond you can see The Horn. Be careful coming to Saddleback Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. If you came for an overnight stay Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground is a wonderful place to camp, and going for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail is always a perfect adventure.

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....
