Go for a hike on the Brook Trail, and a great close by hotel is The Perennial Inn. All year is a great time in the White Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Get wet paddling on Sandy River       - South Branch, and camping is available at Black Brook Cove Campground. The amount of rain that falls at Saddleback Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is next to Saddleback Pond; don't leave Saddleback Pond without first going for a hike along the Chimney Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting                  things in the White Mountains. Moose And Deer Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore, and you should positively take a look at Piazza Rock during your stay. Saddleback Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains.
