What a nice lake Saddleback Pond is. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. You truly should like the White Mountains. The Perennial Inn is a good place to get some rest; get dripping wet paddling on Sandy River - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Sandy River.

High temperatures at Saddleback Pond during the summer are in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Saddleback Pond. than a day to discover everything Saddleback Pond has to offer, you can camp at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground. Stay the night at Black Brook Cove Campground, and the top of The Horn is easily seen from Saddleback Pond.
