Saddle Pond gets a typical amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Hay Brook Logan near Saddle Pond is always a brilliant idea. There's so much to do here at Saddle Pond that you need to camp here for a while, South       Branch Pond Campground is a nice place for that. Going for a hike along the Freezeout Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a gorgeous lake like Little Beaver Pond is a fine location to stop at. Millinocket Stream is a wonderful whitewater spot right next door to Saddle Pond; if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a great choice. Second Lake is a great lake close to Saddle Pond, and you can run the rapids                  of Munsungan Stream. Any time is a fine time at Saddle Pond if you go for the outdoors. While you're here at Saddle Pond you can take a hike along the Munsungan Lake Tote Road, and you can stay the night at Matagamon Wilderness Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Saddle Pond typically tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's.
