Sabattus River Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Big Skye Acres Campground is a great local campground, and the slopes of Lost Valley are so inviting noone can resist. While you're here at Sabattus River Reservoir you will meet lots of people from nearby Lewiston-Auburn, and a wonderful close by hotel is Travel Inn. This lake is so wonderful.       The high level of precipitation makes Sabattus River Reservoir a quite wet location; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is September. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Apple Valley Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Sabattus River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Freeport/durham Koa is a great spot for that. Get wet paddling on Cathance                  River; Lower Dam is not far at all from Sabattus River Reservoir. Some close by water includes Barker Brook, and Armands Orchard Side Inn is a great place to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Chandler Brook; here at Sabattus River Reservoir you can see Whites Hill. For the period of the months of summer here at Sabattus River Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
