There's so much to do here at Sabattus River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Big Skye Acres Campground is a good spot for that. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sabattus River Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Freeport/durham Koa. This lake is so wonderful. After a long  
   day outdoors Travel Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and Chandler Brook is a delightful whitewater spot nearby.
Sabattus River Reservoir is a wet spot that gets much rainfall; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is September. Dry warm beds await you at Armands Orchard Side Inn, and Lost Valley is a very popular ski area close by. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. In the
 
               event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cathance River, and swing by Barker Brook it's a great place to take a look at.
From Sabattus River Reservoir you get a splendid vista of Whites Hill; Sabattus River Reservoir is a tremendous lake close by. Summer at Sabattus River Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Sabattus River Reservoir sink into the 10's. Apple Valley Golf Course is a perfect golf course nearby, and great water scenery is available at Farnsworth Mill Dam right next door to Sabattus River Reservoir.

Fun short spot, We made it a overnight trip and had a good old time. There needs to be a bunch of water in this stream to even make it doable. on 4/20 we were scooting-ass over many shallow spots in our yaks. Fun drops with laziness inbetween make for a good time especially for the novice....
