     An interesting thing to go to right next door to Sabattus Pond is Sleeper Dam, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dead River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Travel Inn is a good location to spend a night or two, and you're possibly into lakes, Sabattus Pond is one of those nearby. There are some great whitewater spots on Chandler Brook, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Lost Valley. At Sabattus Pond  
   through the summertime months highs are in the 80's; the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, generally in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Sabattus Pond tend to be in the 10's.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cathance River. A tour to nearby Marr Point is very relaxing; Maine Campground Owners Association is a perfect local campground.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some nice people from Lewiston-Auburn here, and while you're here you can play some golf at Springbrook Golf Club.
Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact abundant here at Sabattus Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Allen Pond Campground is a great spot to camp, and a perfect panorama of delightful Sabattus Mountain is available. The high level of precipitation makes Sabattus Pond a relatively wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Lewiston Auburn Area; if you've had enough of Sabattus Pond, Custer Pond is nearby.

Fun short spot, We made it a overnight trip and had a good old time. There needs to be a bunch of water in this stream to even make it doable. on 4/20 we were scooting-ass over many shallow spots in our yaks. Fun drops with laziness inbetween make for a good time especially for the novice....
