Rye Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Spend the day on the beach at Pine Point Beach if you're here at Rye Pond, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Lost Valley while you're here. Chandler Brook has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and golf can be played at Sable Oaks Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Rye Pond, for example Clark Pond, and why not visit
Clark Pond Dam since you're here. For the duration of the months of summer at Rye Pond highs are usually in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while
Rye Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Rye Pond is a quite wet place typically with a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and August is the month with the least
moisture.
You just should love Rye Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Portland-Days Inn South Portland, and some of the water close by flows, like Beaver Pond Brook.
