This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Alder Brook; Bibber Hill is clearly visible from Runaround Pond. Sabattus River Reservoir is a wonderful lake next to Runaround Pond; if you came to camp Blueberry Pond Camping is a pleasant spot to do that. Runaround Pond Dam is a lovely place near Runaround Pond, and a perfect nearby hotel is Armands Orchard Side Inn. Golf can be played at Apple Valley       Golf Course, and drift down the rapids of Chandler Brook in a kayak. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Runaround Pond rules! After a long day outdoors Travel Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and pretty scenery and good skiing is what you get at Lost Valley. Lakes? Sure, Sabattus River Reservoir is in the vicinity, and at Runaround Pond you always meet someone from Lewiston-Auburn. Runaround Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation;                  most of the rain falls all through November; September is when it's the driest. For the period of the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Runaround Pond. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Runaround Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
