Runaround Pond is a glorious spot to camp, Blueberry Pond Camping is a glorious spot, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chandler Brook. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Runaround Pond is so good! After a long day outdoors Travel Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and there's some flowing water close       by, Alder Brook is a stream you can take a look at while here. Bibber Hill is gorgeous and can be observed from Runaround Pond; the slopes of Lost Valley are so inviting noone can resist. Summertime highs at Runaround Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is rather chillier of course, generally in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Runaround Pond. Stay the night at Big                  Sky Acres Campground, and this is a popular place for people from Lewiston-Auburn. Runaround Pond is in the vicinity of Runaround Pond Dam which is a striking site positively worth stopping at; Royal River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. A large amount of rain falls at Runaround Pond; most of the rain falls throughout November while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
