Beautiful Rum Pond has much to offer visitors. The warmest time of the year at Rum Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Rum Pond tend to be in the-10's. | | offers some great whitewater, and Katahdin Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Pockwockamus Pond near Rum Pond is a great spot to check out, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Chimney Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Bangor here at Rum Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Chimney Pond Campground is a good place to camp. Looking | |

for some flowing water? Try Rum Brook; Lower Togue Pond is a perfect lake close by. Rum Pond is a good place of common rain; most of the rain falls through July, and February is when it's the driest. You clearly must fancy Rum Pond.
Rum Pond is right by the Dudley Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nesowadnehunk Stream.
