It's always fun to stop by Rum Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place to camp here at Rum Pond is Chimney Pond Campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Nesowadnehunk Stream. From a precipitation point of view Rum Pond is a reasonably typical spot; the month with most of the rain is July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. a glorious location to get some rest, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy Stream. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Rum Pond get
into the 70's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Rum Pond are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Rum Brook flows through this neighborhood, and lots of people from Bangor come here.
