During the days of summer highs here at Round Pond get into the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Round Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. You can take a little visit to Pine Springs Lake Dam if you're here at Round Pond, and Sanford/Kennebunkport Super 8 Motel is a glorious place to get some rest.       There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Round Pond. There are some great whitewater spots on Little River, and Round Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Maine Mountain is a great place to camp nearby. Round Pond generally gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November while January is usually the driest month. The vista of Ross Mountain from Round Pond is charming, and if you need a spot to stay Sanford Inn is                  a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Shy Beaver Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Ossipee River. Do stop by Northwest Pond close to Round Pond, it's a scenic lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Round Pond has to offer, you can camp at Walnut Grove Campground.
