Round Pond is right by the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, and camping is available at Northern Outdoors. Why not camp at Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge while you're here at Round Pond, and the peak of Burnt Nubble can be seen from Round Pond. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Round Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Frypan       Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; Bingham Motor Inn is a great location to get some rest. Take a hike on the Intake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake. Take a little visit to Trout Stream since you're here at Round Pond; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Kennebec River. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Round Pond, it simply has so much outdoors fun stuff. A lake nearby is Big Indian Pond,                  and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kennebec River - East Outlet. At Round Pond all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
