Take a hike on the Intake Trail. There's so much to do here at Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Northern Outdoors is a pleasant spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Round Pond, you'll stumble on Big Indian Pond which is a wonderful lake, and a quick journey to Trout Stream is beyond doubt       a tremendous idea. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Round Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kennebec River - East Outlet; if you need a place to stay Bingham Motor Inn is a great choice. And that's not all you can do here                  at Round Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail; Round Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a pleasant local campground. Lakes are good; Frypan Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Round Pond; a fine close by hotel is Lodge at Moosehead Lake.
