Round Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side spree to Burnham Brook, and Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a splendid place to get some rest. Going for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and camping at Northern Pride Lodge and Campground is always a tremendous experience. All through the warmest time of the year at Round Pond highs are mostly in the 70's.

| | For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Round Pond sink into the-10's.
If the weather is brilliant here at Round Pond, you can go for a hike along the Intake Trail, and Round Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Caseys Spencer Bay Campground is a glorious local campground. Be careful coming | |

to Round Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. If you come at the right time of year, Kennebec River - East Outlet offers some pleasant whitewater. Round Pond gets a normal amount of rain; throughout the month of July
you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
Dry warm beds await you at Bingham Motor Inn; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kennebec River - West Outlet.
