Round Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Round Pond is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, K O A Kampgrounds is a magnificent place to camp nearby; while you're here you can play some golf at Clinton Golf Course. Paddling on Sebasticook River is so much fun, and dry warm beds await       you at Best Western Waterville Inn. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Eaton Mountain can be spotted from Round Pond, and hey, Lambert Brook is a fine local stream. Any time is a fine time at Round Pond if you love the outdoors. Eaton Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Round Pond has to offer, you can camp at Skowhegan/Canaan KOA. Whitewater paddling is great on Wesserunsett Stream; after a long                  day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine location to spend a night or two. During the warm months here at Round Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 20's; night lows during the winter for Round Pond tend to be in the 0's.
