Do stop by Round Pond while you're in this part of Maine. Roaring Brook Campground is a nice campground nearby, and if you need a place to stay Katahdin Inn is a perfect choice. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Round Pond reach the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Round Pond temperatures fall to the-10's.

is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Round Pond, you could pop by Pockwockamus Stream. A typical amount of rain falls here at Round Pond; most of the rain falls through July; February on the other hand is the driest.
