This place, Round Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Have a great hiking adventure along the Mooseleuk Tote Road, and get covered with water paddling on Munsungan Stream. Stay the night at South Branch Pond Campground; some nearby water includes Little Bog Brook. Hiking along the Millinocket Lake Tote Road is pleasant fun, and Millinocket       Falls is a brilliant local attraction. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Millinocket Stream, and Round Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Katahdin Inn, and you can take a little spree to Millinocket Lake Dam if you're here at Round Pond. Round Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain                  is July; the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Round Pond usually tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
