If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a perfect choice, and Big Eddy is a great local attraction. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Round Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in       the 20's while Round Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Grove Campground is a great site to camp, and there's whitewater on Penobscot River - East Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. Soldier Pond is a delightful lake near Round Pond. Hay Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting, and don't leave Round Pond without first going for a hike along the Telos Tote Road.                  An average amount of rainfall falls at Round Pond; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Katahdin Shadows Campground, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Bangor. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Beer Logan are fun to explore; there are wonderful spots to look at along the Sandbank Trail. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do close to Round Pond. Lakes?
