This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Martin Stream, and camping at Sebasticook Lake Campground is always a magnificent experience. Round Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. If only       every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. Not far from Round Pond, you'll hit upon Plymouth Pond which is a beautiful lake. A perfect close by hotel is Londonderry Inn, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Plymouth Pond. There are some nice whitewater spots on Kenduskeag Stream, and if you need a location to stay Pittsfield Motor Inn is a good choice. Throughout the warm days                  of summer at Round Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
