For the duration of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Round Pond while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Round Pond dip into the 0's. Round Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; throughout November this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest.       There's some interesting stuff to spot at Plymouth Pond Dam in the vicinity of Round Pond, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Kenduskeag Stream. Christie's Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and Martin Stream has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. So many amusing things near Round Pond, simply striking. Pittsfield Motor Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Round Pond is not the only location nearby,                  Plymouth Pond is a nearby lake, and you can stay the night at Sebasticook Lake Campground.
