Round Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Round Pond reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Round Pond temperatures plunge to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. | | always check out nearby Alder River South Branch Reservoir; hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Pond; Albany Brook Trail is a brilliant local trail. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The White Mountains rocks! The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Black Mountain, and do take a hike on the Albany Notch Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Crooked River, and you acquire a great vista of Mount Abram from here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the White Mountains has to offer. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Round Pond
has to offer, you can camp at Littlefield Beaches Campground, and you can hit the slopes at Mount Abram in the neighborhood. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great globe it would be. The Bethel Inn
Resort is a good place to get some rest, and why not have a look at Outlet Dam if you're here. There's so much to do here at Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Stony Brook Rec. and Camping is a tremendous place
for that. Lakes? Sure, South Pond is around here. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. You need to go to Goss Ledge while you're here at Round Pond, and dry warm beds await you at The Victoria Inn. And if that's
not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Round Pond. Looking for some flowing water? Try Beaver Brook. Round Pond is a good location of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with
the least amount of precipitation. There are some good whitewater spots on Little Androscoggin River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Albany Mountain Trail.
