     This lake is so wonderful. Crooked River is a glorious whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Round Pond; if you need a location to stay The Victoria Inn is a glorious choice. Round Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Littlefield Beaches Campground is a splendid site to camp, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Albany Notch Trail.
You'll never forgive yourself
 
   if you don’t go skiing at Mount Abram while you're here, and let's not forget Beaver Brook which is a stream that you may come across while you're here. Skiing at Black Mountain is one of those things you just have to do; Stony Brook Rec. and Camping is a magnificent local campground. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling near Round Pond is Little Androscoggin River; Round Pond is right by the Albany Brook Trail.
If you want a magnificent time in the great
 
               outdoors, just come on down to Round Pond. A lake nearby is South Pond, and if you want to stop at some interesting stuff, stop at Goss Ledge. For the period of the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Round Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Round Pond tend to be in the-10's. So many cool things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. Outlet Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here, and Mount Abram is stunning and can be made out from here.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Round Pond. Dry warm beds await you at The Bethel Inn Resort. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Alder River South Branch Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and hiking along the Albany Mountain Trail is perfect fun. The annual rainfall here at Round Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

LARGEST ADVANCED SKIING COMPLEX IN THE EAST
The new chair provides easy access to what was already the largest self-contained advanced skiing complex in the East. The black diamond terrain is in a bowl that is separate from the rest of the ski area. Three advanced trails were added in the bowl this summer. The new lift services 12 Top-to-Bottom advanced skiing runs.
NOVICES & INTERMEDIATES CAN SKI FROM THE SUMMIT -- FOR THE FIRST TIME
The new quad chairlift also allows novice and intermediate skiers to ski from the summit for the first time. Novices can now enjoy the panoramic views and ski along the 4000 ft. ridge amongst rime-frosted conifers before descending to the base via the 3.1 mile America and Hudson Highway trails. Intermediates can ski Tri-Color and Green Weaver, a one mile loop, back to the Kennebago Chair.
