The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Oxford House Inn, and of course, this is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Black Pond is a lake close by. Man, is there loads of amusing things to do close to Round Pond. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Round Pond is       a fine site to visit for more than one day, Fiddlehead Campground is a fine site to camp nearby, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Cranmore Mountain. Get drenched paddling on Ossipee River, and delightful hiking is available along the Weeks Brook Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Lakes are pleasant; Clays Pond is a lake that's close to Round Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Ossipee River. This                  lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Kearsarge Trail, and great skiing awaits you at King Pine. Summertime highs at Round Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Round Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains. At Round Pond you can see Bald Peak, and Fryeburg Dam is stunning. Round Pond is a wet place that gets much precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is September. Zen Farm RV Resort is a glorious local campground; if you need a location to stay White Mountain Hotel and Resort is a pleasant choice.
