So many fun things near Round Pond, definitely mind-boggling. The views at Acadia National Park will blow your mind, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Union River. Taking a little visit to nearby Crystal Cove is a glorious idea; swing by Duck Pond Brook it's a great location to take a look at. Having a magnificent time at Round Pond is easy. Hit the beach if you want, Lamoine Beach is practically right here,       and a great nearby hotel is Open Hearth Inn. This lake is so wonderful. The Ledge is a wonderful place to pop by close by, and Echo Lake Beach is relatively close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Much precipitation falls at Round Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You need to go to Duck Rock while you're here at Round Pond, and you can go for a                  hike on the Great Long Pond Trail. Why not visit Long Pond Dam since you're here, and don't leave Round Pond without first going for a hike along the Western Mountain Ridge Trail. There are some great whitewater spots on Branch Lake Stream. This lake is so wonderful. At Round Pond you can distinguish High Head, and if you need a place to stay Isleview Motel and Cottages is a glorious choice. Why not camp at White Birches Campground while you're here at Round Pond, and going for a hike on the Eagle Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Summertime at Round Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows throughout the winter for Round Pond tend to be in the 10's.
