If you need a site to stay Bar Harbor Inn is a wonderful choice, needless to say you could also visit Long Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Pond; Schoodic Head Trail is a good local trail, and you can run the rapids of Narraguagus River - West Branch. | | worthwhile. Yeah, come here to Round Pond for a delightful time. Good hiking is available along the Alder Path Trail, and there's whitewater on Narraguagus River for all you thrill seekers. Round Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the months of summer at Round Pond temperatures are
mostly in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Round Pond drop into the 10's.
