    Many people like to go to Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Blue Hill Trail is brilliant fun; do visit Parker Pond, it's a picturesque lake. Dry warm beds await you at Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge; whitewater paddling is fine on Blue Hill Falls. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Round Pond; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
A spree to close by Bucks Harbor is very
 
   relaxing, and if you want to hit the beach, Bakeman Beach is in the neighborhood. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Stay the night at Robin Hood Camp; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Sawyer Notch Trail. There's so much to do here at Round Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sunshine Campground is a great location for that, and on a delightful day it's a great idea to spend the day at Redman  
               Beach.
Some of the water nearby flows, like Billings Brook, and Goose Falls has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. At Round Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Round Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Round Pond is excellent! Going for a hike along the Black Dina Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
This lake is so wonderful. Round Pond is next to Harbor Ledge which is without doubt worth visiting, and on a wonderful day you can check out Jerrys Meadow, a swamp in the neighborhood of Round Pond. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a magnificent choice; the summit of Kench Mountain can be spotted from Round Pond.
