     There are some great whitewater spots on Goose Falls, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Blue Hill Trail. Stay the night at Sunshine Campground, and Redman Beach is a gorgeous beach to visit. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Round Pond, you could also go to beautiful Snake Pond, and close by you stumble on the Sawyer Notch Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Round Pond, too glorious to  
   be true. Kench Mountain is a peak you can see from Round Pond, and Round Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Robin Hood Camp is a great place to camp nearby.
An average amount of rainfall falls at Round Pond; through November this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Fort Knox Inn; going for a hike on the Black Dina Trail is always a great adventure.
Whitewater paddling
 
               is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Blue Hill Falls; Jerrys Meadow is a swamp in the neighborhood of Round Pond. Since you're here at Round Pond why not explore Harbor Ledge, and Lily Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Round Pond. A trip to close by Bucks Harbor is very relaxing, and a day at stunning Bakeman Beach in close proximity to Round Pond is a wonderful thing to do.
For the period of the summertime at Round Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Billings Brook if you're here at Round Pond; after a long day outdoors Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Christmas in July, the 3rd weekend of July and Halloween in August the 3rd weekend in August.  Come and listen to the loons.  If you do not own a camper, come and stay in one of our rustic cabins or one of our rental campers.  Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful setting....
