It's always fun to stop by Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Goose Falls, and on a glorious day it's a delightful idea to spend the day at Bakeman Beach. From a precipitation point of view Round Pond is a reasonably typical spot; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. | | are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Round Pond. If you're here at Round Pond, do take a trip to Bucks Harbor, and Kench Mountain is a peak you can observe from Round Pond. the neighborhood of Round Pond called the Blue Hill Trail, and of course Billings Brook flows through this region. This location rocks, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Round Pond. There are fine spots
to look at along the Black Dina Trail; if you need a site to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a wonderful choice. Camping is available at Sunshine Campground. Lakes are good; Snake Pond is a lake that's right next door to Round
Pond. A great site in the vicinity of Round Pond is Harbor Ledge, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Jerrys Meadow is right close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if you want, Redman Beach is practically right
here, and dry warm beds await you at Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. So many exciting things to do at Round Pond, so little time. Going for a hike on the Sawyer Notch Trail is always a wonderful adventure; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Lily Pond.
