Round Pond gets lots of water; most of the rain falls throughout August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Here at Round Pond you can see Indian Stream Mountain; why not take a refreshing hike along the Arnold Pond Trail. You could also explore Caribou Bog if you're here at Round Pond; it's close by; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Arnold Trail. You'll need more       than a day to look at everything Round Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Arrow Lodge, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Dead River - North Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Moose River - South Branch, and do take a hike on the Morrell Trail. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more to do near Round Pond. During the days of summer highs here at Round Pond reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Round Pond temperatures dip to the-10's.
