It's always fun to stop by Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Nutting Pond; some nearby water includes Quimby Brook. From a rainfall point of view Round Pond is a pretty typical place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. Having a tremendous time in the White Mountains is easy. This is a good area for folks who like lakes. Beaver Bog is a lake

| | in the vicinity; Hunter Cove is close by and always tremendous to take a look at.
Burnham Hill can be observed from Round Pond, and Dodge Pond Dam is a gorgeous spot, definitely worth taking a look at. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Dead River - South Branch; going for a hike on the Bemis Trail is always a wonderful adventure. experience, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is rather near.
Round Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do near Round Pond. Round Pond is great enough to spend
more than a day at, North Camps is a great local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Bemis Stream Trail. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Kennebago River.
Summertime highs at Round Pond mostly tend to be
in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Round Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. But wait, there's more amusing
things to do in the White Mountains. Black Mountain is a great local ski area, and nearby you stumble on the Milrose Trail which is a great hiking trail.
