Hunter Cove is not far from Round Pond at all, and while you're here, you could check out Quimby Brook. Round Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the White Mountains. The snow is great at Saddleback, and if you get bored of Round Pond you could also have a look at close by Dodge Pond. A day on the slopes of Black Mountain is just what you need. If you came       for an overnight stay North Camps is a wonderful place to camp, and you can go for a hike on the Milrose Trail. Round Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. So many amusing things in the White Mountains, just phenomenal. Secret Bog is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Black Brook Cove Campground is a delightful campground nearby.
