This lake is so wonderful. You're probably interested in lakes, Horseshoe Pond is one of those nearby, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Fox Brook Trail. Round Pond really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Clover Hill       Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Fish River. There's whitewater on Machias River for all you thrill seekers; going for a hike on the Round Trail is always a nice adventure. High temperatures at Round Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's while Round Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are                  in the-10's. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Round Pond; the month with most of the rain is August; February is when it's the driest. This is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes.
