If you come at the right time of year, Nezinscot River offers some brilliant whitewater, and from Round Pond you obtain a splendid vista of Hackett Hill. Hit the slopes at Titcomb in close proximity. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Round Pond has to offer, you can camp at Rol-lin Hills Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural       beauty of this area, and you'll probably meet some people from Lewiston-Auburn here. If you need a location to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a wonderful choice, and golf can be played at Maple Lane Inn & Golf Club. Summertime at Round Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Round Pond. If you have a thing                  about the outdoors, you'll go for Round Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sandy River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Long Pond. Lost Valley is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Bartlett Pond is nearby.
