Dillingham Hill can be made out from Round Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Martin Stream Campsite is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lard Pond is a great lake near Round Pond, and lots of folks from Lewiston-Auburn come here. At Round Pond during the warm months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.       During the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Round Pond tend to be in the 0's. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Lost Valley, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Nezinscot River. Any time is a good time at Round Pond if you like the outdoors. Spend the day on the beach at Auburn Municipal Beach while you're here at Round Pond; Maine Motel & Cabins is a magnificent place to get some rest. After a long                  day outdoors Econo Lodge Auburn is a good place to spend a night or two, and Maine Campground Owners Association is a good campground here. Chandler Brook is a fine whitewater spot near Round Pond.
