This lake is so wonderful. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Round Mountain Pond reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Round Mountain Pond are in the-10's. Round Mountain Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; of all the       months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Very beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Sugarloaf USA; you can stay the night at Cathedral Pines Camping Area. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Round Mountain Pond has to offer. Take a hike on the Arnold Trail, and there's whitewater on Dead River - North Branch for all you adrenaline people. This                  lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Saddleback, and the Morrell Trail offers hiking at its best. At Round Mountain Pond you can make out Round Mountain; if you're here, you could also explore pretty Lower Pond. You'll discover a stunning lake called Chain Lakes near Round Mountain Pond, and you can run the rapids of Cupsuptic River. Round Mountain Pond is right by the Arnold Pond Trail.
