High temperatures at Round Mountain Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Round Mountain Pond. Round Mountain Pond is not the only place close by, Bugeye Pond is a close by lake; if you came for an overnight stay       Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a magnificent location to camp. Get dripping wet paddling on Cupsuptic River. Round Mountain Pond gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Black Arrow Lodge is a perfect campground nearby, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Sugarloaf USA. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Round Mountain Pond. There's brilliant hiking along the Morrell Trail, and paddling on Dead River - North Branch is so much fun.
