Cathance Stream is a good whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Round Lake. There's so much to do here at Round Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hilltop Campground is a good spot for that. At Round Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Round Lake. This is a nice vicinity for folks who like lakes.

You're perhaps interested in lakes, James Pond is one of those nearby, and you can run the rapids of Dennys River. Having a great time at Round Lake is uncomplicated. November; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Bald Ledge is easy to spot from Round Lake; if you came to camp Knowlton's Seashore Campground is a delightful location to do that.
