Swamps don’t sound that delightful but Oak Point Meadow close to Round Lake is relatively delightful, and don't leave Round Lake without first paying a visit to Munson Rips. So much exciting stuff to do at Round Lake, so little time. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of East Machias River. Stay the night at Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park, and do pay a visit to Roosevelt       Campobello International Park while you're here at Round Lake. Round Lake frequently gets a lot of rain; during November this area sees the most rain while June is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore nearby Northern Stream if you're here at Round Lake; the summit of Round Lake Hills can be spotted from Round Lake. Round Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Cobscook Bay State Park is a perfect spot to                  camp nearby; a wonderful site for whitewater paddling is Northern Inlet. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Round Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
