    A visit to Round Lake is always a good idea. Round Lake is a pretty wet place mostly with a lot of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is June. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on East Machias River. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in close proximity to Round Lake. Paddling on Northern Inlet is so much fun, and a trip to Roosevelt Campobello International Park is worthwhile.
This lake
 
   is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Second Lake, and a brilliant spot to camp here at Round Lake is Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park. Put some time aside to spend at Munson Rips while you're here at Round Lake; one of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Round Lake is Round Lake Hills. Not far from Round Lake, you'll locate Mud Lake which is a scenic lake, and camping at Cobscook Bay State  
               Park is always a pleasant experience.
All through the months of summer at Round Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Round Lake. Some of the water nearby flows, like Northern Stream, and don't miss out on a great swamp; Oak Point Meadow is right here at Round Lake.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
