Pockwockamus Stream is in the neighborhood of Rocky Pond and is always a bliss to explore, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Dudley Trail. enough to spend more than a day at, Roaring Brook Campground is a pleasant local campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Cathedral Trail. Katahdin Inn is a splendid site to get some rest, and glide down the rapids
of Nesowadnehunk Stream in a kayak. From Rocky Pond you obtain a good vista of Abol Mountain, and Pockwockamus Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Rocky Pond, you
could also explore close by Lower Togue Pond. Rocky Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February.
