Katahdin Inn is a great place to get some rest; from Rocky Pond you acquire a pleasant sight of Abol Mountain. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Rocky Pond. Lakes? Sure, Cranberry Pond is in the vicinity, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy Stream offers some brilliant whitewater. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Rocky Pond while overnight lows are       frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Rocky Pond tend to be in the-10's.
