     Rocky Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Beech Hill from Rocky Pond is wonderful, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn, and you'll meet a lot of people from Rockland here. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail close to Rocky Pond called the Ragged Mountain Trail; Camden has great slopes and a friendly staff.
After a long day
 
   outdoors The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a fine site to spend a night or two; you can take a little visit to Mirror Lake Dam while you're here at Rocky Pond. A large amount of rainfall falls at Rocky Pond; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. There's whitewater on Ducktrap River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you're here, you could also have a look at  
               striking Tolman Pond.
There are some great whitewater spots on Oyster River, and beaches are perfect and Laite Memorial Beach is no exception. So much fun stuff in the vicinity of Rocky Pond, completely mind-boggling. Why not camp at Camden Hills RV Resort if you're here at Rocky Pond, and going for a hike on the Mount Battie Trail is always a perfect adventure. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Rocky Pond.
If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Goose River Golf Course is close by, and a good location to camp here at Rocky Pond is Roberts Roost Campground. At Rocky Pond during the summertime highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Rocky Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
