     You ought to beyond doubt visit pretty Hales Beach if you're here at Rocky Pond, and why not pop by Rocky Pond Cove also if you're here. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Rocky Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Branch Lake Camping Area is a perfect local campground, and if you need a location to stay Twilite Motel is a fine choice. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Rocky Pond; all through November  
   this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bald Mountain Trail; there's some flowing water close by, Bowden Hill Brook is a stream you can stop at while here. Summertime highs at Rocky Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's; nighttime
 
               lows in the 0's for Rocky Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Rocky Pond, for example Upper Patten Pond, and at Rocky Pond you can see Flag Hill.
That right there is a load already, but it continues; Rocky Pond has it all. Get covered with water paddling on Branch Lake Stream; hiking along the Peaked Mountain Trail is splendid fun. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Narramissic River; Rocky Pond is right by the Blue Hill Trail. There's so much to do here at Rocky Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Patten Pond Camping Resort is a great location for that, and Lower Patten Pond is a perfect lake nearby.
Take a look at nearby Jesse Bog, and after a long day outdoors Homestead Motel and Cottages is a splendid site to spend a night or two.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Christmas in July, the 3rd weekend of July and Halloween in August the 3rd weekend in August.  Come and listen to the loons.  If you do not own a camper, come and stay in one of our rustic cabins or one of our rental campers.  Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful setting....

Pushaw Lake Campground

Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.

We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us. Maybe you just want to lay around on our beach and do nothing but listen to the loons, whatever the case may be come and do it with us at Pushaw Lake Campground and let us make your camping experience the best yet....
