Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Northern Inlet, and let's not forget Dead Brook which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park is a glorious campground nearby, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of East Machias River. This lake is so wonderful. Cobscook Bay State Park is       a good local campground, and Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a good local destination. Through the warm days of summer at Rocky Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Rocky Lake.
