     Stay the night at Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park, and let's not forget Dead Brook which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rocky Lake a wet spot; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here while June is generally the driest month. Through the warm days of summer at Rocky Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The  
   wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Rocky Lake fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Northern Inlet is a delightful whitewater spot close to Rocky Lake; not far from Rocky Lake you'll hit upon Munson Lake which is a wonderful lake.
In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on East Machias River. Lakes are perfect; Second Lake is a lake
 
               that's near Rocky Lake. Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a nice location in the vicinity of Rocky Lake, and Rocky Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Cobscook Bay State Park is a magnificent place to camp nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Rocky Lake.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
