    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Rocky Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on East Machias River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rocky Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cobscook Bay State Park. Rocky Lake is a pretty wet place generally with much rain; November is when you get the most rain here while June is frequently the driest month. This place, Rocky Lake, it just has so much  
   outdoors cool stuff.
Lakes are wonderful; Second Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Rocky Lake, and if time allows, Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a national park worth stopping at. All through the days of summer at Rocky Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Rocky Lake tend to be in
 
               the 0's. Dead Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth going to, and Northern Inlet has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Not far from Rocky Lake, you'll locate Munson Lake which is a pretty lake. There's so much to do here at Rocky Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park is a splendid place for that.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
