Rock Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Very delightful scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Saddleback, and a cool spot to check out is Piazza Rock. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rock Pond has to offer, you can camp at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail. Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is a tremendous golf course nearby; Rock Pond is a perfect place to visit

For the duration of the summer at Rock Pond highs are mostly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Rock Pond. forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Black Mountain since you're here, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dead River - South Branch.
This lake is so wonderful.
Sandy River is a delightful whitewater spot near Rock Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Rock Pond. Haley Brook is a great spot to stop at, and the Brook Trail is a great hiking trail
nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Rock Pond you hit upon the Chimney Trail which is a great hiking trail, and at Rock Pond you can spot Oakes Nubble.
