For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Roberts Pond reach the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Roberts Pond during the winter regularly descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive       yourself if you don’t go skiing at Shawnee Peak since you're here, and lots of people from Portland-South Portland come here. Camp Cherith is a good campground nearby; a golf course close by is Salmon Falls Restaurant Motel & Golf Club. Bunganut Lake Camping Area is a glorious local campground, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saco River. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out                  Swan Pond while you're here at Roberts Pond; it's nearby; The Lodge at Kennebunk is a magnificent location to get some rest. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do right next door to Roberts Pond. Some nearby water includes Bartlett Brook, and whitewater paddling is fine on Little Ossipee River. The high level of rain makes Roberts Pond a relatively wet spot; November is the month that gets the most rain while September is mostly the driest month.
