But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Roaring Lake. The view of charming Estey Mountain near Roaring Lake is good; needless to say Lively Brook flows through this vicinity. If you came for an overnight stay Cobscook Bay State Park is a great site to camp; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Orange River. This lake is so wonderful.       Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a very perfect site to take a look at right next door to Roaring Lake, and camping is available at Knowlton's Seashore Campground. Roaring Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. During the long summer days here at Roaring Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Summer night lows fall down                  to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Roaring Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
