Visiting Roosevelt Campobello International Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and not far from Roaring Lake you'll stumble on Western Lake which is a scenic lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Mill Dam; if you come at the right time of year, Hobart Stream offers some great whitewater. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Roaring Lake. Stay the night at Knowlton's Seashore Campground; a
great view of wonderful Estey Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Roaring Lake, and soar down the rapids of Orange River in a kayak.
Roaring Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with much precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. Through the summer months at Roaring Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer

overnight lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Roaring Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
There's so much to do here at Roaring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cobscook Bay State Park is a good place for that, and naturally Lively Brook flows through this region.

This was my 1st camping trip in many years. We stayed 3 nights with no problems. The grounds were quiet, well maintained and many sites had a beautiful view of the tidal inlets with no view of the neighbors. We plan to return....
