A great place to camp here at Roaring Lake is Cobscook Bay State Park; if you're looking for a pleasant visit, Roosevelt Campobello International Park is relatively near. Roaring Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. is pretty. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Roaring Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Orange River offers some tremendous whitewater; camping at Knowlton's Seashore Campground is always a fine experience.
