    Why not stop by Roaring Lake if you're passing through these parts. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hobart Stream, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Roaring Lake. During the long summer days here at Roaring Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at  
   Roaring Lake are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Roaring Lake is Cobscook Bay State Park; if you're looking for a pleasant visit, Roosevelt Campobello International Park is relatively near. Roaring Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. There's always Mill Dam to check out near Roaring Lake, and the sight of Estey Mountain
 
               is pretty.
And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Roaring Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Orange River offers some tremendous whitewater; camping at Knowlton's Seashore Campground is always a fine experience. Visit Lively Brook if you're here at Roaring Lake. Lakes? Sure, Western Lake is around here.
