During the summer months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Roach Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's while Roach Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. Be careful coming to Roach Pond, you might not ever want to return       home again. Roach Pond is right by the Kennedy Tote Road, and a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Mattawamkeag River - East Branch. Roach Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Take a hike on the Pierce Tote Road; you can run the rapids of Mattawamkeag River - West Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid                  hiking adventure along the Old Dam Tote Road, and Roach Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Birch Point Lodge Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground. If you get bored of Roach Pond, you could also explore nearby Charley Anderson Pond, and it's a great idea to visit Cold Brook.
