Lakes? Sure, Fox Pond is close by, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Rocky Mountain Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at Rideout Pond; the month with most of the rain is August while February is typically the driest month. Camping at Lakeview Campgrounds is always a good experience; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. John River.

| | Pond is a tremendous lake close to Rideout Pond, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Falls Brook. At Rideout Pond through the summer highs are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; night lows at Rideout Pond all through the winter frequently descend into the-10's. | |
