If you need a location to stay Star Dust Motel is a brilliant choice; you can run the rapids of Meduxnekeag River - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Very gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you get at Bigrock. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Culling Pond is one of those nearby, and getting       to Hoyt Brook from Rideout Lake is trouble-free. Summer at Rideout Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Rideout Lake tend to be in the 0's. Mid Town Motel is a glorious spot to get some rest; there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Kennedy Tote Road. Camping at Rideout Lake is good fun, My Brothers                  Place is a good local campground, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Sweets Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Pierce Tote Road is a pleasant hiking trail close to Rideout Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Wilde Pines Campground is a pleasant location to camp. The peak of Sugar Loaf can be spotted from Rideout Lake, and there's whitewater on B Stream for all you thrill seekers.
