There are other places here than Rideout Lake, for example Conroy Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Pierce Tote Road will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and My Brothers Place is a brilliant local campground. Hiking along the Sweets Trail is pleasant fun, and a quick tour to       Hoyt Brook is positively a great idea. After a long day outdoors Shiretown Motor Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two; everyone nearby loves skiing at Bigrock. Summertime highs at Rideout Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Rideout Lake. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t                  have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on B Stream; dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Houlton. Meduxnekeag River - South Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and on a pretty day you obtain a brilliant vista of Sugar Loaf from Rideout Lake. But wait, there's more to do next to Rideout Lake. Why not camp at Wilde Pines Campground since you're here at Rideout Lake. Lakes? Sure, Culling Pond is in the vicinity.
