From Richards Pond you obtain a fine sight of Blue Hill, and there are plenty of folks from Portland-South Portland here. Crescent Beach is next to Richards Pond and is a charming beach to stop at. Richards Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Bayley's Camping Resort is a delightful local campground, and a pleasant spot to have a look at nearby is The Brothers. This lake is so wonderful.       The slopes of Lost Valley are so inviting nobody can resist, and unsurprisingly Alewife Brook flows through this area. For you golfers we recommend close by Pleasant Hill Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at The Higgins Beach Inn. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Richards Pond that you need to camp here for a while, A Vacationland Campground is a brilliant location for that, and you can run the rapids of Chandler Brook. The                  high level of precipitation makes Richards Pond a rather wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while August is mostly the driest month. A spree to Cliff House Beach near Richards Pond is always a great idea, and a tour to close by Adams Head is very relaxing.
