Get drenched paddling on Dead River - South Branch, and Reed Pond is a nice site to visit for more than one day, King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a nice site to camp nearby. At Reed Pond through the summer highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Reed Pond are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Black Arrow Lodge is       a fine campground nearby, and a wonderful sight of beautiful Reed Hill is available. Going for a hike along the Bigelow Range Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. If the weather is magnificent here at Reed Pond, you can go for a hike along the Fire Warden Trail; the skiing at Sugarloaf USA is good. A day on the slopes of Saddleback                  is just what you need, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cupsuptic River. Reed Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February.
