The amount of rain that falls at Redington Pond is close to the national average; the month with most of the snow is November; February meanwhile is the driest month. | | paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Hammond Pond if you're here at Redington Pond; it's nearby; the Arnolds Trail offers hiking at its best. All through the summertime at Redington Pond highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Cold Brook is next to Redington Pond, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Redington Pond Outlet. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Owls Head can be spotted from Redington Pond. Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground
is a fine local campground, and there's tremendous hiking along the Fire Warden Trail. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carrabasset,
and hiking is a popular thing to do around Redington Pond; Bigelow Range Trail is a splendid local trail.
