From a precipitation point of view Redington Pond is a pretty normal       location; all through November this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is February. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sugarloaf USA; Redington Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Deer Farms Camps and Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Go for a hike on the Bigelow Range Trail; drift down the rapids of Carrabasset in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Redington Pond without                  first going for a hike along the Arnolds Trail.
