If you need a location to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a great choice, and get soaked paddling on Sandy River. This lake is so wonderful. Black Arrow Lodge is a great campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Fire Warden Trail is always a tremendous adventure. The amount of precipitation that falls at Redington Pond is close to the national average; the month of November is the wettest with most of the       snow while February is regularly the driest month. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Redington Pond. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows during the winter for Redington Pond tend to be in the 0's. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Redington Pond. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Orbeton Stream, and the                  Piazza Rock Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Potato Hill can be spotted from Redington Pond, and Sugarloaf USA is a very popular ski area close at hand. Saddleback has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Bigelow Range Trail.
