Rangeley Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Black Brook Cove Campground, and Rangeley Lake is right by the Bemis Stream Trail. Taking a little visit to nearby Hunter Cove is a great idea, and not far from Rangeley Lake you'll locate Dodge Pond which is a lovely lake. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. The Milrose Trail offers hiking at its best,

| | and soar down the rapids of Dead River - South Branch in a kayak. High temperatures at Rangeley Lake during the warm months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Rangeley Lake. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Rangeley Lake is so good! Lakes? Sure, Ross Pond is nearby; The Perennial Inn is a great site to get some rest. | |

Rangeley Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; most of the rain falls all through August; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Saddleback is a delightful local ski area, and why not take
a little journey to Quimby Brook since you're here. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the White Mountains. Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School is a golf course next to Rangeley Lake, and paddling on Kennebago River
is so much fun. All the outdoors fun stuff close to Rangeley Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Rangeley Lake is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. The slopes of Black Mountain are so inviting nobody can
resist, and why not camp at North Camps since you're here at Rangeley Lake. Why not take a look at Dodge Pond Dam while you're here, and there's good hiking along the Bemis Trail.

Bugeye Pond
 | 18 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
