| | rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. On a gorgeous day you acquire a vista of Bald Mountain from Rangeley Lake, and why not stop at a swamp like Hayno Bog since you're here at Rangeley Lake. Rangeley Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Rangeley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. | |

North Camps is a good site to camp, and Black Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. You can run the rapids of Dead River - South Branch near Rangeley Lake, and going for a hike on the Bemis Trail is always a good adventure.
