     And that's not all the things to do here in the White Mountains. Near Rangeley Lake you hit upon the Milrose Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; you're perhaps addicted to lakes, Nutting Pond is one of those nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. So many fun things in the White Mountains, just extraordinary. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Saddleback; there's whitewater on Kennebago River for all you adrenaline  
   rush seekers.
This lake is so wonderful. On a gorgeous day you acquire a vista of Bald Mountain from Rangeley Lake, and why not stop at a swamp like Hayno Bog since you're here at Rangeley Lake. Rangeley Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Rangeley Lake.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
               At Rangeley Lake Dam in the vicinity of Rangeley Lake there are some interesting things to see, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Ellis Pond is just a very short distance away. If you came for an overnight stay North Camps is a good site to camp, and Black Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. You can run the rapids of Dead River - South Branch near Rangeley Lake, and going for a hike on the Bemis Trail is always a good adventure.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Rangeley Lake. Spots Point is not far from Rangeley Lake at all; Cupsuptic Campground is a good campground nearby. Go for a hike on the Bemis Stream Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Kennebago River. The warmest time of the year at Rangeley Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's while Rangeley Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's.

We stayed at South Arm campground and paddled the lake every day. One night we rented a wilderness site and tented from canoes. We also drove down the road and hiked out and back on the AT.

A new Inntopia Central Reservation and Packaging System will allow Saddleback to book lodging, Ski & Stay and other packages at the lodges in the town of Rangeley as well as the condominiums at the mountain.
