    If you are in Franklin county it's always a good idea to stop by Rangeley Lake. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Hayno Bog is right close by, and North Camps is a good local campground. So much exciting stuff to do at Rangeley Lake, so little time. Paddling on Kennebago River is so much fun, and don't leave Rangeley Lake without first going for a hike along the Bemis Trail. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   Looking for some flowing water? Try Kennebago River, and Cupsuptic Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the White Mountains. Spots Point is relatively close to Rangeley Lake; Bald Mountain is clearly visible from Rangeley Lake. Rangeley Lake usually gets a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February.
Glide down the rapids of Dead River - South Branch
 
               in a kayak. Lakes are fine; Nutting Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Rangeley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Bemis Stream Trail, and do have a look at Rangeley Lake Dam while you're here. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Saddleback, and not far from Rangeley Lake you'll locate Beaver Bog which is a lovely lake.
This place is peerless, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Rangeley Lake. During the summer months at Rangeley Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while Rangeley Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. All year is a good time in the White Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Milrose Trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Black Mountain is a perfect site to do that.
