This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Saco, Maine; Little Watchic Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out. A pleasant place to camp here at Rainbow Pond is Nason's Beach and       Campground, and a day on the slopes of Shawnee Peak is just what you need. This is a popular site for folks from Portland-South Portland, and if you get bored of Rainbow Pond you could also stop by nearby Duck Pond. So much exciting stuff to do here at Rainbow Pond, too brilliant to be true. There's some flowing water close by, Northwest River is a stream you can stop by while you're here, and paddling on Saco River is so much fun. For the duration of the                  warm months highs here at Rainbow Pond reach the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Rainbow Pond tend to be in the 0's.
