Do stop by Ragged Lake while you're in this part of Maine. This lake is so wonderful. Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a splendid spot to get some rest, as expected you could also stop at Cow Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Looking for something right next door to Ragged Lake? Bear Pond is nearby, and Ragged Lake Dam is a place that is in the vicinity of Ragged Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pleasant River - West Branch,

| | and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Big Spencer Mountain Trail. Going for a hike along the Number Four Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; get covered with water paddling on Roach River. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Ragged Lake. Don't forget to take a fine little tour to Black Brook, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Gulf Hagas Trail. at Casey's Spencer Bay Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn. Throughout the summer highs here at Ragged Lake get into the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the
winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Ragged Lake tend to be in the-10's. Ragged Lake is a good spot of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the
one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Frost Pond Campground is always a nice experience; perfect skiing awaits you at Big Squaw.
