You'll need more than a day       to explore everything Rack Pond has to offer, you can camp at Riverbend Campground, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Wilson Stream. This place rules, just look at all the exciting stuff to do right next door to Rack Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; if you're here, you could also go to wonderful Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Lost Valley if you're here, and Burgess Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Rack Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Rack Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
