Go to Rack Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Billington Brook. At Rack Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Rack Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Titcomb,

| | and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wilson Stream.
You'll meet a lot of people from Lewiston-Auburn here, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a great location to get some rest. Rack Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Rack Pond is a pretty wet place typically with lots of rain; during November this area sees the most rain while
February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Sandy River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; Rack Pond is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Wilson Lake Inn, and the sight of pretty Fayette Ridge is pleasant.
