And that's not all you can do here at Quill Pond. Stay the night at Black Arrow Lodge, and swing by Cold Stream it's a good spot to pop by. Quill Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Enjoy a round of golf at       Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School not far from Quill Pond, and there are splendid sites to look at along the Piazza Rock Trail. Black Brook Cove Campground is a fine campground nearby, and charming scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Saddleback. Quill Pond is not the only spot nearby, Dill Pond is a nearby lake; good hiking is available along the Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Quill Pond are in the-10's.
